Young Investigators Abstract 2024
British Society of Cardiovascular Magnetic Resonance
The BSCMR is eager to encourage young researchers working on all aspects of research related to CMR and best Radiographer Case.

As part of this initiative, the Society will host its Young Investigators Session during the forthcoming 19th Annual Meeting which will be held at the Blavatnik School of Government, Oxford on the Wednesday 11th September 2024.

Young researchers are invited to submit a short (350 word) abstract of their research. Clinicians studying for postgraduate qualifications (MD, PhD, or equivalent) are encouraged to take part and researchers with up to two year’s postdoctoral experience are also eligible. Abstracts covering all areas of research related to CMR, including work at an early stage, will be considered.

The abstracts will be displayed as posters at the conference. The authors of the THREE best research abstracts will be invited to give an oral presentation at the 19th Annual Meeting of the Society and a prize for finishing 1st, 2nd, 3rd will be awarded. There will also be a prize for the best Radiographer case.

Final date for submission of abstracts – 16th August 2024 @ 5pm

Young Investigators will be notified of the result of the review by w/c 26th August 2024
Oral presentations – 11th September 2024

This year we will publish the abstracts in HEART. Please indicate on the registration form if you do not wish your abstract to be published in Heart.
