We encourage researchers to submit abstracts of 350 words covering their latest research, and these will be selected for poster presentations, and published in Heart journal. Abstracts from researchers in sub-consultant grades, or with up to 2 years post-doctoral experience, can be considered for the Young Investigator Award.
The best three abstracts will be selected, and investigators will be asked to make an oral presentation of their work in the afternoon session, with the winner of the award being announced at the end of the day. First prize is £150, Second prize £100 and third prize is £75. Deadline for submission of abstracts is Friday 9th September 5pm, and YIA candidates will be notified by w/c 19th September 2022.
