The 18th BSCMR Annual Meeting in Glasgow on Tuesday 24th (Level 1 CMR course) and Wednesday 25th October (Annual Conference) promises the latest updates on the clinical and scientific areas of CMR, from highly experienced CMR practitioners around the country.

The venue is the Golden Jubilee Conference Hotel. There will be plenty of opportunity for networking and questions, and an entertaining debate in the afternoon.

Set on the banks of the River Clyde, the Golden Jubilee combines the standards of a four-star hotel with the facilities and first-class service required for successful conferences.

20 minutes from Glasgow Airport.
Quick transfer time to Glasgow City Centre as well as national motorway & rail networks.

Loch Lomond & The Trossachs National Park only 20 minutes away.

Getting To The Conference Centre

By Rail

Take a low-level train from either Glasgow Queen Street or Central Station to Dalmuir Station. There are approximately 11 trains per hour. Direct trains also run between Dalmuir and Edinburgh Waverley and if you are travelling from London, the Caledonian Sleeper runs nightly. Dalmuir station is a 10-minute walk from the Hotel.

By Bus

From Glasgow city centre you can take the First Glasgow bus service numbers 1, 1A, 1B, 1D. These services all travel along Dumbarton Road and the stop for the Hotel is at the end of Beardmore Street. The conference centre is located on Beardmore Street at the roundabout

From the Airport

The Conference centre is approximately a 20-minute drive from Glasgow International Airport. Use the M8/M898 and follow signs for Erskine Bridge. Once over the Erskine Bridge, follow the route on the map below. A Glasgow Airport taxi from the Airport will cost approx. £25.

By Car
