Cardiovascular Image Analyst
Division of Cardiovascular Medicine, Oxford Centre for Clinical Magnetic Resonance Research, Level 0, John Radcliffe Hospital, Oxford
Grade 6: £27,328 – £32,600 p.a.
We are looking for a highly-motivated, flexible individual to assist with the analysis of cardiac imaging scans across a range of clinical research projects based in the Oxford Centre for Clinical Magnetic Resonance Research (OCMR) at the John Radcliffe Hospital, Oxford.
You will have a degree or equivalent qualification in a relevant discipline and experience in image and/or numerical processing as well as biomedical data analysis in biological or physiological science. Experience of analysis in cardiovascular clinical research would be a distinct advantage.
Your main duties will include collecting and maintaining accurate data and undertaking appropriate analysis as requested. You will be capable of learning new techniques quickly and maintaining meticulous attention to detail in a long-term manual image analysis process. Good organisation and time management skills are essential.
The post is available immediately and fixed-term for 1 year in the first instance. It is not intended for an independent researcher with an interest in his/her own research programme development.
