We are excited to launch the BSCMR Travel Scholarships. These are grants of funds to resident doctors and radiographers being trained in CMR to support their development. They are a key way that BSCMR can further its objective of supporting training and development of CMR practioners in the UK.

The Board has approved up to 10 travel scholarships of up to £500 to support attendance at major imaging meetings in particular SCMR and EACVI for trainee members who have an accepted presentation, poster or case in CMR.

The process involves a simple application to BSCMR with short CV, proof of acceptance of abstract, letter of support from supervisor and covering letter.

The successful awardees will be asked to acknowledge BSCMR and to provide a short description of their experience for publication on the BSCMR website and newsletter. This scheme is now live and applications will be open when the abstract and case results are available for EACVI 2026. Please follow the link to below to apply:
