We are delighted to announce the launch the first in out series of educational webinars, ICC for the General Cardiologist, taking place on Tuesday 9th June at 6:30pm.
This session will explore the role of cardiovascular magnetic resonance in inherited cardiomyopathies, with focus on dilated and arrhythmogenic cardiomyopathies (DCM/ACM). Designed for general imaging cardiologists, the webinar will provide practical insights into how CMR can support diagnosis, risk stratification, and emerging research into the field.
Led by Dr Hannah Sinclair, ICC and CMR cardiologist at St Thomas’s Hospital, London, and Dr Daniel Hammersley, ICC lead at King’s College Hospital, CMR cardiologist, and Honorary Senior Lecturer at King’s College London, the session aims to cover a range of key topics including:
- Classical CMR phenotypes and imaging patterns seen in DCM and ACM
- When to consider referral to inherited cardiac conditions (ICC) services and how to work collaboratively within specialist networks
- Emerging imaging techniques and evolving research in inherited cardiomyopathies
- Future clinical applications of advanced CMR techniques in diagnosis and patient management
We hope you will be able to join us for this practical and clinically focused webinar exploring the role of CMR in inherited cardiomyopathies.
This event is free for BSCMR members. Attendees will receive 1 CPD credit upon attendance and feedback completion.
