Young Investigators Abstract 2025
Top 10 Abstract submissions gain free registration to the meeting on the 1st april 2025
The BSCMR is eager to encourage young researchers working on all aspects of research related to CMR and best Radiographer Case.

As part of this initiative, the Society will host its Young Investigators Session during the forthcoming 20th Annual Meeting which will be
held at King College London, Strand on the 1st April 2025.

Young researchers are invited to submit a short (350 word) abstract of their research. Clinicians studying for postgraduate qualifications (MD, PhD, or equivalent) are encouraged to take part and researchers with up to two year’s postdoctoral experience are also eligible. Abstracts covering all areas of research related to CMR, including work at an early stage, will be considered.

The authors of the THREE best research abstracts will be invited to give an oral presentation at the 20th Annual Meeting of the Society and a prize for finishing 1st, 2nd, 3rd will be awarded and 1st prize for the best Radiographer case.

Final date for submission of abstracts – 24th February @ 5pm

Young Investigators will be notified of the result of the review by w/c 24th February 2025
Oral presentations – 1st April 2025

 

Abstract submission and abstract publication in HEART Journal.

This year we will publish the abstracts in HEART. Please indicate on the registration form if you do not wish your abstract to be published in Heart.

CMR Young Investigators’ Award and Radiographer Case

The abstracts must be CMR related and case reports will not be accepted. Please indicate on the registration form if you would like your abstract to be considered for the CMR Young Investigators’ Award.

Please note: ‘Abstracts that have previously won a young investigator award for the same work/abstract will not not allowed to submit for the YIA but can submit an abstract for display at the conference‘.
